Raspberries are INFINITELY SUPERIOR to strawberries. I have never met a chocolate cake/mousse/brownie recipe that wasn't improved by a last minute addition of fresh raspberries folded in before baking/setting.
And I've never met a proper field grown strawberry that chocolate improved - only those year-round crunchy flavorless monster berries which would benefit just as much from a sprinkling of Maldon Salt

Chocolate covered strawberries are one of the world's most overrated luxuries.
If a strawberry has been dipped in chocolate it's because it's inedible otherwise. In my experience.
